So I started! Okay- I didn't get that far, but I did mention baby steps, right?
I did take the dog for a nice long walk, and I came home and worked for a few hours on my other little goal of clearing out clutter. I got two boxes emptied and sorted and almost put away.
I called a couple of friends and got them to come over tonight for a weight loss meeting. Hopefully having the additional support will help us all to be successful!
Now I have a couple of new goals: to drink at least 6 glasses of water each day and get up 15 min earlier in the mornings. I did the latter this morning and it was nice to feel more prepared for the day. The former goal I still need to work on, however.
I am horrible about drinking enough water. I usually realize that when I get a headache or joint soreness. That's when I know I am dehydrated and I try to catch up. A few years ago when I successfully lost weight, I was using weakened Crystal Light in my water, to improve the flavor. I may try that again, even though I am nervous about the artificial sweetener. I felt so much better when I was drinking more water!
Okay- I am off to START! And also to do some cleaning before the group gets here!
